Dr. Rohit Deshbhratar has been associated with Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai. While his primary interest lies in orthopedic anesthesia, he has also been an integral part of renal and liver transplant anesthesia teams and has contributed to hand transplant surgeries.

He completed his anesthesiology training at one of India’s top medical institutions and holds a Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Management from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. During his fellowship, he gained extensive experience across multiple orthopedic subspecialties, including arthroplasties, arthroscopies, spine surgeries, acute trauma and limb reconstruction, pediatric orthopedic procedures, plastic reconstructive surgeries, burn management, and related sequelae.

Dr. Rohit is also experienced in anesthesia for obstetric, neurosurgical, general surgical, and orthopedic emergencies, as well as morbid obesity and bariatric surgeries. He is proficient in ultrasound-guided anesthesia procedures, nerve blocks, invasive cannulation, fiberoptic intubations, and video laryngoscope-assisted procedures.
