About

Dr. Harish Chafle is an experienced Intensivist with over 28 years of cumulative experience, including 12 years in Critical Care and 16 years in Pulmonary Medicine. His expertise focuses on Critical Care in Respiratory Medicine, with special emphasis on ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.

 

He is skilled in conventional bronchoscopies and bronchoscopic interventions such as TBNA, endo-bronchial, trans-bronchial lung biopsy, and broncho-alveolar lavage, and performs difficult intubations using a bronchoscope. In the ICU, he is proficient in procedures like central line and arterial line insertion, intubation, ICD insertion, and surgical tracheostomy. He also has expertise in pulmonary function testing and polysomnography.

 

Dr. Chafle has been associated with prestigious organizations like the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Indo-Australian Critical Care Foundation. He has contributed to several publications and presented at international conferences, including the Annual Congress of European Respiratory Society and the Asia Ventilation Forum.
