Dr Anurag Shrimal is a distinguished liver transplant surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in abdominal organ transplantation. He is internationally trained, highly accomplished, and widely recognized for his leadership in living donor liver transplantation, minimally invasive donor hepatectomy, pediatric liver transplantation, and complex multi-organ procedures.


He continues to advance the field with innovations such as robotic and laparoscopic donor hepatectomy, tailored pediatric grafts for the smallest recipients, and breakthroughs in blood-group-incompatible liver transplantation.


With over 1200 liver transplants and some of India’s rarest and most complex surgeries to his credit, Dr Shrimal has set new benchmarks in surgical excellence, ethical practice, and patient outcomes.
