About

Dr. Anil Parakh is the Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology at Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai, with over 40 years of experience in the field. He completed his MD in Anaesthesiology in 1987 and began his career at Bombay Hospital and Institute of Medical Sciences, one of India’s largest private hospitals. Over 23 years there, he gained extensive expertise in administering anesthesia for neurosurgical, cardiac, orthopedic, and spine surgeries.

 

He has also trained internationally as a Clinical Observer at Harbor View Hospital, Seattle (USA), and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, London, gaining exposure to adult and pediatric neurosurgical anesthesia practices.

 

Dr. Parakh has held several leadership positions, including Past President of the Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology & Critical Care (ISNACC), Founder Member of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM), and Founder Secretary of the Association of Neuroanaesthesiology & Critical Care – Mumbai (ANACC-Mumbai).
