A Gold Medallist in MS Orthopaedics, he has received advanced training in India, Germany and Japan, including specialised fellowships in hip and knee reconstruction at OCM clinic, Munich, Germany, and robotic knee replacement at Takatsuki General Hospital, Osaka, Japan.
