Bangalore, May 31st, 2021: BGS Gleneagles Hospital performs two complex transplant surgeries on patients with chronic illness, after a donor’s family agreed to give away his organs to save lives, in the midst of COVID second wave chaos. A 37-year-old middle-aged man was admitted to the hospital due to a prolonged illness and lost his life on April 15th, 2021.

Bangalore, May 28, 2022: Today, BGS Gleneagles Hospital organized a stem cell donation drive at BGS Institute of Medical Sciences campus in collaboration with DKMS BMST Foundation India, a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer. The hospital will be listed as an official stem cell collection centre. Through this drive, the hospital aims at spreading awareness on lifesaving treatments for patients with blood cancers like leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma or blood disorders like Thalassemia or aplastic anaemia.

Bengaluru/Kengeri, June 01, 2022: Today, BGS Gleneagles Hospital relaunched their Advanced Emergency & Trauma Center. Sri Sri Sri Dr Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji, President, Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Mutt, Nagamangala, inaugurated the Advanced Emergency & Trauma Center and acknowledged the significant role that the hospital plays in effectively managing critical emergency cases that occur in both rural and urban Bangalore. Sri Sri Dr Prakashnath Swamiji, Managing Director, BGS & SJB Group of institutions, Bengaluru, graced the occasion.
