About

Dr. Abhay Bhave is a highly accomplished hematologist with over 35 years of clinical experience. Known for his precision in diagnosis and compassionate patient care, he holds an M.B.B.S. and M.D. from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and has received advanced training in Hematology from reputed international institutions.

 

He has worked extensively at leading global centers, including the Department of Hematology at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (Muscat, Oman) and Westmead Hospital (Sydney, Australia). During his tenure with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, Dr. Bhave played a key role in managing transfusion issues, ensuring safe blood screening, and coordinating blood supply across New South Wales.

 

Over the years, he has organized numerous Anemia and Thalassemia Detection Camps, delivered awareness talks on Blood Donation and Blood Cancer, and contributed significantly to community health initiatives. Dr. Bhave is an active member of professional bodies such as the Mumbai Haematology Group and the Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion.

 

Beyond his clinical work, he also serves as a lecturer at leading medical colleges and universities, sharing his expertise with the next generation of doctors.
