Dr Prashanth Rao is a highly experienced GI and Bariatric Surgeon with over 34 years in the field. He specializes in advanced minimal access (laparoscopic) surgery across multiple domains including Upper GI, Colorectal, Bariatric, Hepato-Biliary (HPB), and Thoracic surgery. Dr Rao has trained and worked under pioneering surgeons both in India and internationally, and has conducted live demonstrations, workshops, and training labs globally. He is also actively involved in professional associations, teaching, and academic research.
