Hegde in Apollo Hospitals, AO SPINE fellowship under Prof. Rajasekaran in Ganga hospitals and  Advanced training at multiple centers in South Korea.

He is extensively trained in the latest cutting-edge technologies like Robotic, Endoscopic, and Non-fusion Spine surgeries. He is one of the few surgeons in the world who is trained in performing Non-Fusion scoliosis surgery(VBT) for Scoliosis deformity correction.
