Dr. Lalit Verma is a Paediatric Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Liver transplant specialist. Dr Lalit Verma is an American Board Certified, who received his training in Paediatric from New York Medical College. He further did his training in Paediatric Gastroenterology and liver transplant from Stollery Children’s Hospital, Canada. Dr. Lalit has over 15 years of experience in the field. Dr. Lalit brings his vast work experience from national and international community. His area of interest are Paediatric liver transplant and liver diseases besides various gastro-intestinal and pancreatic disorders. Dr Lalit Verma is clinical lead of Paediatric Liver Transplant Program, gastro-intestinal disorders and nutrition at Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai.

He has several firsts to his recognitions in Maharashtra, that includes youngest ABO incompatible liver transplant, liver transplant in youngest premature infant with heart defect with successful post-surgical outcome, transplant of a child with Acute Liver Failure within 48 hours of ICU admission and mono-segment graft transplant in very small (low -weight) babies. Dr. Lalit has created a benchmark for other people in medical community by performing over 4500 Paediatric procedures which includes upper endoscopy (gastroscopy), colonoscopy, H-pylori testing, foreign body removal, polypectomy to name a few.
