About

Dr Lakshminarayanan K is one among the few DM Pediatric Neurology qualified Doctors practicing in Tamil Nadu. He underwent specialty training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. He is a well experienced child neurologist and epilepsy specialist with over 16 years of professional experience. Presently, he is a senior consultant at the Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai.

His expertise is well recognized in the treatment of complex genetic and uncontrolled epilepsies in children. He is well qualified and experienced in pre-surgical work up of infants and children with drug resistant epilepsy for epilepsy surgery including stereo-EEG implantation. He has vast experience in treating children with super refractory status epilepticus including autoimmune encephalitis and degenerative brain disease in children.

Dr Lakshminarayanan has actively participated in many National and International Conferences and training courses in the fields of child neurology and epilepsy. He has many publications in well reputed International Journals to his credit. He is an Invited Faculty for ASEPA EEG Course for Neurologists in South Asia. He has been a member of Epilepsiome Task Force of ILAE and an active member of Indian Epilepsy Society – Young Epilepsy Section. He is an Executive Board Member of the Association of Child Neurology (AOCN) of India.

He is also an esteemed member of the American Academy of Neurology, Epilepsy Society of Australia (ESA), Indian Epilepsy Society (IES), International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), Association of Child Neurology (India) (AOCN), American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM), American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM).
