About

Dr. Ameet Mandot is the Director and Clinical Lead for Adult Hepatology & Liver Transplant with over 24 years of experience in managing complex liver diseases. He has successfully treated more than a thousand patients with advanced liver conditions in both ICU and ward settings.

 

A National Gold Medalist in DNB (Gastroenterology), Dr. Mandot pursued an advanced fellowship in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at Hospital Beaujon, Clichy, Paris—one of Europe’s premier centers for liver care—under the mentorship of world-renowned hepatologists Prof. Dominique Valla and Prof. Francois Durand.

 

His expertise covers the full spectrum of liver care, including fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and pre- and post-liver transplant management. Beyond his clinical excellence, Dr. Mandot is also deeply involved in academics and mentoring. He served as Teacher and Academic In-charge in the Department of Gastroenterology at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai.

 

With over 20 publications in indexed medical journals and significant contributions to liver transplant programs across leading hospitals, he also serves as the Honorary Gastroenterologist to the Governor of Maharashtra.
