He has successfully overseen more than 300 cases involving pre, post, and long-term patient care, and specializes in providing expert treatment for patients requiring ventilatory and ECMO support, including facilitating nationwide air transfers for ECMO patients.

 

But Dr. Apar is more than just a doctor—he is a pioneer in his field. As the founder of the South East Asian Society of Sleep Medicine and the Lung Foundation of India, he has demonstrated a lifelong dedication to advancing pulmonary medicine. Currently serving as the Treasurer of the Indian Society for Sleep Research, Dr. Apar continues to lead with innovation and compassion. His illustrious career spans roles as Consultant, Clinical Director, and Head of Department in premier hospitals across India and the USA, where his contributions to lung transplantation and interventional pulmonology have earned him numerous accolades. Actively involved in academics as a guest lecturer and conference faculty, Dr. Apar remains deeply committed to enhancing respiratory medicine and ensuring the best outcomes for his patients.
